Happy New Year 2014

Watching the sun set on the last day of 2013

2013 has been a great year filled with lots of happy memories.  Two overseas and two interstate holidays with B, and a trip with some of my closest friends for a concert we had been waiting years to see. We bought a dog, which has been extremely rewarding but at the same time very challenging. I started studying to be a holistic health coach and I also started this blog. I initially started it as a way to share my love of healthy eating with others and along the way have met so many  like-minded people with lovely feedback and kind comments – it really is amazing and incredibly humbling knowing that since starting the blog only three short months ago already over 10,000 people have stopped by for a look, which is about 9,990 more than I ever anticipated!

2014 is set to be another amazing year – three of my closest friends are getting married, we have a holiday booked in for May and I will finish my course in September. I’m also looking forward to developing this blog even more and all the exciting opportunities and experiences that may bring, and I look forward to meeting and engaging with even more of you in 2014.

I have a bunch of new and exciting recipes lines up for the coming weeks, but for now I’ll leave you with the links to my most popular posts so far (and head on over to my Instagram account for a Flickbook of all my recipe pictures for the year).

Nutty banana oat bars
Sourdough bread and starter
Superfood salad
Shakshuka (baked eggs)
