Seed sprouter

Seed sprouter

Sprouting your own seeds at home is not only easy, it’s also cost effective. You can make do without a seed sprouter by using a large jar to soak the seeds and a sieve to sprout them in, but if you do have the extra space in your kitchen then an actual seed sprouter like this one can make things a bit easier.

Nearly all seeds, nuts, grains and legumes can be sprouted, which not only increases the nutritional properties, it also makes them far more digestible.

Fresh sprouts can be added to salads, wraps and sandwiches, or used in stirfries and blended into smoothies.

Some of the recipes on To Her Core which use spouts are

Sprouted Mung Bean Dip

DIY Chickpea Flour

Gado Gado Egg Wraps with Fried Sweet Potato

Vegetable Noodle Pad Thai
